Orlando Bloom had a couple of broken ribs (from a fall off a horse); Viggo Mortensen had a broken toe (from kicking the helmet in the Orcs funeral pyre scene); and Brett Beattie (Gimli’s stunt double) had a knee injury. So apparently some people still don’t get why Shaw is disliked and despised. I wouldn’t be surprised because they are the same group of people who are so very hellbent on opposing Careese/het shipping in the first place. The fact that she doesn’t have a personality or has a personality like dry paint is why people don’t like her. She is simply a knock off of Reese and to me Reese is Reese and I ain’t taking a female Reese. It doesn’t even matter if she would be romantically linked to Reese or not. Adding to that would be how much screen time she is taking away from Carter and Fusco and they don’t deserve the short stick! I won’t even lose sleep over this or hold my breath trying to reason with those unreasonable. And by saying “eye candy” apparently it has nothing to do with how much skin she is showing. Taking things at the literal level to circumvent the actual reasons, nice try…smh. Like my fellow friends on Tumblr Shaw is really the last straw for me and unless she is no longer a series regular I wouldn’t be tuning in anymore. I hate to walk away from this show but enough is enough.
